VJ Burger

Eugen Neacșu [ro] is a visual artist born in Constanta, graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design of the West University of Timisoara, dedicated to graphic design (poster, book), videoanimation, video and cartographic projections, video installations, with over 10 years of experience in creating visual identities for companies, advertising and branding agencies, and visual art.

He started working as a video artist (VJ) in 2007 with the Timisoara rock band Implant for Refusal and for 10 years he was the band's official visual artist. In 2009, together with artists Michaela Konrad (illustrator) and Daniel Dorobanțu (video editor and composer), he produced video works for the audiovisual installation "Memories of Now", which was exhibited at the Next Comic Festival, part of Ars Electronica Center Linz(Austria). The installation "Memories of Now" generated three more episodes signed by the same group of artists and was presented as a permanent show in the Multimedia Hall "Deep Space" also at Ars Electronica Center Linz until 2014.

In the meantime, he is founding together with a group of local artists "Psihodrom", an audiovisual art collective with works for various campaigns, festivals and event brands: Lighting the future through education (2015), Timishort Film Festival (2017), Timișoara Rocks (2016, 2017), Made in TM (2014) and others.
